Stomach Ecosystem Lab

Stomach Ecosystem Lab emerges from embodied experiences of binge eating and identity doubt. Rather than approaching the stomach as a medical site, the project reframes it as an emotional and political ecosystem shaped by aesthetic norms and heteronormative pressures.
Through a web-based interaction prototype and a moving image work, internal sensations are externalised into a shared visual field, exposing how bodily distress is socially produced rather than individually owned.

A web-based interactive prototype designed to explore participatory mechanisms for externalising stomach-related bodily sensations. Users interact through drawing, colour selection, and emotion tagging, allowing individual inputs to accumulate into a shared visual field. The prototype focuses on interface logic, participation, and experiential flow.
